The Manual of Mathematics called "The Bronstein" has been used by generations. Its last Hungarian edition was published in 1986.
Its success can be explained by the fact, that it is comprehensive but also exact without being lost in the details. This is why it is so useful in practice.
Our translation is based on the 4th German edition, published by Harri Deutsch, which was not only revised several times, but also updated by adding new chapters dealing with data-protection,financial mathematics, computers and the description of some very important softwares like Mathematica or Maple. It should be there, in all libraries.
